That gets a stifled shriek out of Beth, though she muffles it relatively well, biting down on her lower lip. She shakes Jenny's hand, as if somehow that's going to communicate all the excitement she's feeling, utterly helpless to actually describe what it is she feels. Something close to amazement and excitement and gratitude toward the world and to God for letting things like this happen. For giving good people good things, the things they deserve.

"Holy crap," she says happily. "That's so incredible, congratulations. Twins."

It's double the work, she knows that, but it's also double the love and double the memories. And she's pretty sure she remembers Jenny having said Cameron has a twin brother and that's where it has to come from, but she can't imagine how excited they both are.
