That gets a stifled shriek out of Beth, though she muffles it relatively well, biting down on her lower lip. She shakes Jenny's hand, as if somehow that's going to communicate all the excitement she's feeling, utterly helpless to actually describe what it is she feels. Something close to amazement and excitement and gratitude toward the world and to God for letting things like this happen. For giving good people good things, the things they deserve.
