Beth takes his hand between hers, gently rubbing his palms, smoothing away dirt and grit before she slowly begins to dig her thumbs into the muscles to soothe away any pain. She's not going to argue with him that he might be surprised by just how many people might climb a rock to get at his dirty hands, she only smiles down at his palms and shakes her head. He's so much better, so much more desirable than he realizes.
