"All right," Jason says, believing her. He doesn't think she thinks she has to do anything because he wants it. If they never slept together, he'd be happy. She's already given him so much more than he ever thought he'd deserve.

But, it seems like she wants to. Like this is her choice and while it's his too, he's infinitely glad to see that she's comfortable enough with him to want this.

So, he follows her inside without another word, eyes scanning the area to make sure they were alone because, well, nothing would happen if her family was home.
