She tips her head back to give him a look at that, one that says really, because she might not know much about cooking a Christmas dinner, but she's pretty sure it's not going to be very easy. Her mom had always made it look like it was no big deal, but she knows that can't possibly be true. She'd just been doing it for such a long time and sometimes Beth wonders if the first time she made a big meal like this it was hard for her, too.

"Most important thing's we all got each other," she echoes, because at least she agrees with that. "We'll see how hard it can be when I'm makin' you mash up all the potatoes I bought."
