The longer this goes on, the more she does, the easier it is not to second-guess everything, to wonder if they're making a really stupid decision or if they should be taking this slower. He's never really been all that good at slow anyway, though he'd have tried for her, and maybe it is stupid, making it is a mistake, but if so, it's one they clearly both want to make. No matter how this ends up, it can't be any worse than the way things were between them after they broke up, anyway.
