Beth doesn't really know what the plan is today, but she's not worried about it either. Whatever they end up doing, she knows she and Jason will have fun. They always do when they get together, and she's looking forward to being able to try climbing another rock.
This time around, she dresses more carefully for the excursion. She wears shoes that are tighter and a little smaller, better for climbing the rock face. She's wearing a pair of exercise tights and a tank top, because she knows it's going to be warm, and Beth isn't usually one for working out a lot, but she'd bought these clothes just for this. She wants to be prepared. She wants Jason to be proud of her.
All she knows for sure is that she's meant to meet him at his place and they'll go from there. She has a water bottle, a little backpack with some snacks, and she's purposely not letting herself think about what they might do after they climb a rock.
Because she very clearly remembers their conversation at the beach that day. They haven't talked about it since then, but she's pretty sure they had both been talking about two things at once and she's excited. Nervous and excited both. Maybe tonight won't be the night, but maybe it will. She's not going to get ahead of herself, but she's not going to count it out either.
"Hey," she calls out when she's close, expecting him to probably be out in his garden. "Jason?"

"I'm good," she whispers against his mouth. Her hand slides up his back, fingers threading through his hair. "I'm ready."
She feels like she's ready forever. All afternoon. Just waiting for this moment with him.

Instead, he wraps a hand around his cock and slides closer, taking a few deep breaths. Though he doesn't ask her again if she's okay, he does meet her eyes, a non verbal check in just one last time.
no subject
And she thinks it's what he wants to, if how hard he'd been in her hand is anything to go by.
"Please," she breathes. There's no way for him to mistake that for exactly what it is. She wants him, she wants all of this. And she's done waiting for it, if he's ready for it, too.
no subject
He keeps pushing until he's all the way inside of her, hips flush against hips and nearly panting with the pleasure that was washing over him.
no subject
”You’re so good,” she murmurs, not even entirely aware of what she’s saying. Her hands are sliding over his back again, smoothing over his skin. She doesn’t want to urge him to move yet if he’s not ready and she can enjoy this, too, just the sensation of him inside of her. “God, Jason, you feel so good.”

He doesn't want to make the first time with her that bad. So, he stills, dropping a kiss against her forehead and down on her temple.
"It's so good."

Her life has been a hard one in a lot of ways and she's been through so much loss, but Beth has done her best not to harden herself to other possibilities. She wants to still be open to friendships and to love and she's so lucky to have met someone like Jason. Someone she cares about and wants to be with and someone who cares about her in return.
Shifting under him, she smiles when he kisses her, then tilts her head slightly so she can catch his mouth with hers again. She doesn't want to rush him, but she lifts one leg, wrapping it around his, her foot sliding along the inside of his thigh.

And while he doesn't rush it either, he takes that leg around his waist as a slight hint. He can't help but laugh a little and he nods, barely, before he pulls his hips back and then thrusts forwards, finding a tentative rhythm, exploring how they fit and what way worked best and which way made her feel the best.
That was the most important thing because everything made him feel good.

Jason makes her feel like that. As her hands slide up and down his back, fingers curving over his shoulder, hanging onto him, she knows this isn't just about getting to sleep with her.
She settles into his rhythm, moving with him, her breath catching in her chest every single time he sinks into her again.
no subject
God, he doesn't know if he's cut out for anything like that.
He does bend his neck and mouths at her neck, lips closing around her pulse point and sucking hard at the same time as he snaps forward, harder and deeper than before, drawing a moan out of him.
no subject
"God," she breathes, still moving with him, feeling heat building inside of her. Her fingers stroke up his back and she tilts her head for his mouth, giving him more access to her skin. His lips on her throat make her shiver, the feeling dragging down her spine, straight into her belly and then lower still.
no subject
He says her name against her neck and pumps his hips harder and harder, finding that string of control that had been keeping him slow and somewhat steady snapped. He doesn't think she'll mind though.
no subject
Her body is trembling, her muscles tightening and relaxing, sweat prickling her skin. It's so warm in the room, so warm under him and she says his name again, clinging to him tightly.
no subject
He keeps moving, thrusting hard and fast but he knows that he's not going to be able to keep it up much longer. He glances up at her and manages to mumble, "Should I touch you too?"
no subject
Even the thought of his fingers on her now makes her tremble under him and she clutches at his back as her lips form his name again. No sound comes out but another moan and she reaches up with one hand, pushing sweaty hair out of her face so she can look at him better.
no subject
The positioning is a bit awkward, the fit tight but it's working enough and he pants, watching her face and waiting.
no subject
"Just... God, Jason." She's aware of just enough to know she's not really aware of anything she's doing. But her hands still clutch at him and she rolls her hips up and then suddenly, without warning, that heat breaks and rolls through her in waves.

It's not the most elegant of things, not the prettiest or anything but it feels really good and Jason would be utterly content to just stay in that moment for the rest of his life if he could.
no subject
She could lie here all evening, she thinks. Eventually they'll have to move, Carl and Judith will come home, but for now she's perfectly content right here.
"Wow," she says softly.
no subject
"You're all right?" he checks.
no subject
"Are you all right?" she asks. She suspects he's just fine, too. Overall this has been a really nice day and she doesn't think it's too presumptuous to think Jason likely feels the same way. They've come a really long way from where they started all those months ago.
no subject
He hasn't exactly been all that active for the last long while. So, he hopes it wasn't completely terrible or boring.
no subject
"All the sounds I was makin' didn't let you know it was more than just all right?" she asks, grinning. Her arm drapes over Jason's chest and she closes her eyes, cuddling up close to him for a moment. She knows they'll need to get up and clean themselves up, but she wants to wait a little while longer.
Then suddenly her eyes fly open again and she looks up at him. "Was it all right for you?"
no subject
Yes, bring that into it, Jason, that's perfect. He winces and shakes his head. "I'm terrible at pillow talk."
no subject
She's being a little silly, but she doesn't care. Right now, lying here with him all warm and comfortable and sated, she thinks it's allowed. Darrow can be really complicated at times, but she'd promised herself a long time ago to do her best to enjoy the good things when they come her way and Jason is certainly very good. She doesn't want to dwell on anything else. Just be in this moment.
